I ran across your
page while browsing and looking for pages on crochet. I was really surprised to find that
I was looking at a page from a book I bought many years ago. Your Granny's Garden afghan
triggered memories of me adapting the pattern to baby yarn and making afghans for my
children while I was awaiting each of their births. I have made many things from that book
and gone on to make my own adaptations to the suggestions in the book. Thanks for putting
it on the web. |

Garden" are well done. As a lefty, I crochet in the opposite direction of a

I have not
crocheted anything in 10 or more years. My friend just found out she is pregnant and i
thought i would crochet her a baby blanket. Over the last week or so, i have tried pattern
after pattern on the web but each one i tried kept comming out wrong. Then i found your
pattern for "Grandmothers flower garden" afghan. I am sooooo very happy i found
it, i was able to follow the easy directions, with no problem, and the first motif i made
looked just like the picture. I was almost ready to give up, till i found your site. So i
just wanted to say "thank-you" |
