This download creates a special crochet directory
on your PC into which you can start collecting
our unique downloadable FULLY ILLUSTRATED crochet instruction
booklets. Please follow the simple instructions below
for download and installation: |

Simply double-click on the underlined line above. If you
have Internet Explorer installed or are running America Online,
you will be presented with the following screen. Please select
"Save this program to disk". Save the file to your
regular download directory. (If you are using America Online,
that would be the "Download' directory within the AOL
directory). |

| Now go
into "Windows Explorer" and look for the file that you
just downloaded. If you are running America Online 6.0 and
above, the system will automatically find the file for you.
Shown below is one way you could find the downloaded
file. |

| Now
double-click on the file and the following screen will pop up. |
|

| Press the
"Unzip" button. This will cause a new directory to be created on
your hard drive called "C:\crochet" which will contain the
components of the Crochet Library. |
|

WAYS TO ACCESS YOUR PC CROCHET LIBRARY:
|
|
|
|
Method One: Select "Start,Windows Explorer" on your PC,
and then simply find the "index.htm" page in the "c:\crochet" directory.
Double-click on that file (Index.htm) to get into the library. You can
do this every time you want to use your crochet library on your PC.

|
|
Method Two: A much better way to access the library
is to set up a "shortcut" to the library. That means that when
you sign on to your PC you will automatically see the graphic below on the
PC's screen and you will be able to double-click it and
immediately get into the library.

Shown below is the computer screen with a
shortcut set up to open the Crochet Library!

To do this, find the CROCHET directory on your PC - the directory
into which you "unzipped" all of the eBooklets- and then find the "PATCHWORK CROCHET"
shortcut file within it. Copy it by selecting - from Toolbar on top -
"Edit, Copy". See illustration below

Following is to be done for Windows 95 and 98: Find the directory on
your PC called "c:\windows\desktop". Copy the shortcut into this directory
by selecting - from Toolbar on top - "Edit,Paste". You are all set!
Following is to be done for Windows NT: Find the directory on
your PC called "c:\winnt\desktop". Copy the shortcut into this directory
by selecting - from Toolbar on top - "Edit,Paste". You are all set!
Following is to be done for Windows ME and 2000: Find the directory on
your PC called (simply) "Desktop" - when you are in "Windows Explorer"
mode. Copy the shortcut into this directory
by selecting - from Toolbar on top - "Edit,Paste". You are all set!
